Adult Art Enrichment: Sashiko Stitching
AGES 18+
Join us for an engaging journey into the rich history and timeless techniques of Sashiko Stitching! This centuries-old Japanese art form is celebrated for its geometric patterns and practical origins in repairing and reinforcing garments. Experience the calming, meditative qualities of sashiko as you create stunning designs through the art of hand stitching.
Tami Duquette returns to guide us in crafting four unique patterns on a double-sided sampler cloth. This versatile piece can be transformed into a placemat, trivet, decorative entryway accent, or even framed as artwork.
